Humayun Ahmed (born 13 November 1948 Kutubpur, Mymensingh, Bangladesh) is a most popular Bengali Writer. He also dramatist and director of film and television. He is a former associate professor of Department of Chemistry at the University of Dhaka. In 2012 he is appointed as Advisor of Bangladesh Mission of UN. Now he is in Newyork to treatment Cancer.
